The Brother ADS-1100W scans very quickly, but still could not convince in the test. Although the document scanner is positively differentiated from the competition in some respects, the device can be used via WLAN and offers the possibility to store documents directly on a USB stick. Unfortunately, the brother ads-1100W documents often go wrong, and there is always a paper jam.
Granted, the brother ads-1100W is not exactly favorable. But for this the device has a slot for plastic cards, offers WLAN functionality, can digitize documents with a resolution of up to 1,200 dpi, and allows to save scans directly on a USB stick. Brother ads-1100W provides TWAIN and ISIS drivers for Windows and Mac, so that the document scanner can be used from any application via these interfaces. CONTROLCENTER4 is used as document management software. The program supports the most common scanning functions. The Brother IPrint & Scan app can be used to transfer digital documents to mobile devices.
